fire alarm monitoring service

The doorbell housing 702 contains a camera module, an LED indicator, a processor and memory including programs executed by the processor. The doorbell camera 106 is electrically coupled to 1052 a remote chime 1006 via a bypass unit 1012 powered by a transformer 1010 that provides an input AC voltage. The remote chime 1006 is configured to ring 1054 in response to a user press on the doorbell button 1002. A supply monitoring signal is generated 1056 by the doorbell camera 106 based on the input AC voltage to indicate whether the input AC voltage is greater than a supply threshold. Based on a value of the supply monitoring signal, a user is notified by the doorbell camera 106 as to whether there is sufficient voltage to power the doorbell. In accordance with the supply monitoring signal, a message is presented by the doorbell camera 106 to a user of the doorbell camera 106 to indicate whether the input AC voltage is low with respect to the supply threshold. In some implementations, the message may include a visual message displayed by the LED indicator e. g. , a single LED light, a LED display ring formed around the doorbell button 1002 on a surface of the doorbell housing 708 according to one of a set of predetermined visual patterns input AC voltage. In some implementations, the message may include an audio message broadcast by the speaker of the doorbell camera 106. In some implementations, the camera module 1004 may send to the client device 220 via a short range communication link a notification message indicating that the input AC voltage provided by the transformer 1010 is not sufficient for powering the camera module 1004.

, locally on the doorbell camera 106 and in cloud e. g. , remotely in the server system 164. In some implementations, when face recognition is implemented locally, it is simplified according to local computational capability available at the doorbell camera 106. As a result of the facial recognition, the push notification is sent to the client device 220 indicating whether a known person has been recognized or a visitor is an unrecognizable person e. g.

The View uses the same August mobile app Android and iOS as other August devices including the August Smart Lock Pro + Connect and the August Doorbell Cam Pro. It opens to a Keychain screen that shows the name of your house. Tap the house name to open a screen with tabs for all installed August devices with the last captured still image for each video doorbell. To view a live stream, tap Watch Live to wake the doorbell up. Once awake, you'll see live video that you can view in full screen mode by turning your phone sideways. Tap the microphone button to initiate two way audio and the X button to return to the previous screen. There are four buttons at the bottom of the screen. The Camera button takes you back to the home screen, and the Activity button takes you to a screen with thumbnails for all recorded events. Tap any thumbnail to play the video or download it to your phone. There's also a Guest List button that you can use to invite other users to access the app and videos, and a Settings button that brings you to a settings screen for all installed devices. Tap the doorbell button to manage notifications, enable/disable doorbell sounds, adjust two way audio volume, change Wi Fi settings, and check the doorbell's battery status.
